Summary of Jami at-Tirmidhi Hadith 423
This hadith speaks about the two rak'ah before Fajr and what a person should do if they were missed. The Prophet said that whoever did not pray the two rak'ah before Fajr should pray them after the sun has risen. The main message is focused on making up the Fajr Sunnah prayer after sunrise. The wording does not discuss every possible case, so the explanation should stay close to the text. It shows that the two rak'ah before Fajr had special care in the Prophet's teaching. It also teaches that missing a good act does not always mean forgetting it completely. A believer can still take steps to complete what was missed, according to the guidance given in the narration.
What we learn from this hadith
- The two rak'ah before Fajr are treated with special care in the hadith.
- If they are missed, the narration directs praying them after sunrise.
- A missed act of worship may still be remembered and made up.
