Summary of Jami at-Tirmidhi Hadith 923

This hadith gives the reason for the Prophet's stay at Al-Abtah. Aishah says that the Messenger of Allah صلى الله عليه وسلم only camped there because it was easier for his departure. This makes the report very useful for people searching for Al-Abtah hadith or Tahsib in Hajj. It shows that the stay was linked to ease and travel arrangement, not to a separate worship act stated in the text. The wording is gentle but clear. It teaches that the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم chose a practical place for leaving, and that Muslims should understand Hajj practices with the reason given in the narration itself.

What we learn from this hadith

  • Aishah directly explains the reason for staying at Al-Abtah.
  • The stated reason was ease of departure, not a named ritual in the text.
  • Practical ease can be part of travel planning during Hajj.
  • Understanding the reason in the hadith helps avoid overstatement.
