Summary of Sunan Abi Dawud Hadith 1535
This hadith about answered dua focuses on one special kind of supplication: a distant Muslim praying for another distant Muslim. Abdullah ibn Amr ibn al-As narrated that the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم said the supplication that gets the quickest answer is the dua made by one distant Muslim for another. The text highlights care that is not based on being seen, praised, or thanked in person. It is a prayer made from a distance, for someone else. This connects closely with the idea of sincere dua for an absent brother. The wording of the hadith gives a strong encouragement to remember others in private prayers.
