Clapping [during the Salat] is permissible only for the women

Sahih BukhariHadith Number 1204

حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى، أَخْبَرَنَا وَكِيعٌ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ أَبِي حَازِمٍ، عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ قَالَ قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏ "‏ التَّسْبِيحُ لِلرِّجَالِ وَالتَّصْفِيحُ لِلنِّسَاءِ ‏"‏‏.‏

Narrated Sahl bin Sa`d: The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "The saying 'Sub Han Allah' is for men and clapping is for women.
