24/2. Chapter:
To give Bai'a (pledge) for paying Zakat
فَإِنْ تَابُوا وَأَقَامُوا الصَّلاَةَ وَآتَوُا الزَّكَاةَ فَإِخْوَانُكُمْ فِي الدِّينِ}.And Allah’s Statement: “But if they repent, and perform As-Salat (Iqamat-as-Salat) and give Zakat, then they are your brethren in religion…” (V.9:11)

حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ، عَنْ قَيْسٍ، قَالَ قَالَ جَرِيرُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بَايَعْتُ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم عَلَى إِقَامِ الصَّلاَةِ، وَإِيتَاءِ الزَّكَاةِ، وَالنُّصْحِ لِكُلِّ مُسْلِمٍ.
Narrated Jarir bin `Abdullah: I gave the pledge of allegiance to the Prophet (ﷺ) for offering prayer perfectly, giving Zakat, and giving good advice to every Muslim.
