Following the Sunna of the Prophet (saws)

Summary of Sahih Bukhari Hadith 7278

This short Hadith gives a clear principle for judgment. Abu Huraira and Zaid bin Khalid said they were with the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وسلم) when he said to two men, “I shall judge between you according to Allah’s Book.” For people searching for a hadith about judging by Quran, this narration shows that decisions must be tied to Allah’s revealed law. The wording is brief, but its message is strong. The Prophet (صلى الله عليه وسلم) did not present judgment as personal preference or social pressure. He connected it to the Book of Allah.
