وَعَنْ اِبْنِ مَسْعُودٍ - رضى الله عنه - قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اَللَّهِ - صلى الله عليه وسلم -{ طَعَامُ الْوَلِيمَةِ أَوَّلَ يَوْمٍ حَقٌّ , وَطَعَامُ يَوْمِ اَلثَّانِي سُنَّةٌ, وَطَعَامُ يَوْمِ اَلثَّالِثِ سُمْعَةٌ ، وِمَنْ سَمَّعَ سَمَّعَ اللهُ بِهِ " " } رَوَاهُ اَلتِّرْمِذِيُّ وَاسْتَغْرَبَهُ , وَرِجَالُهُ رِجَالُ اَلصَّحِيحِ .
Ibn Mas'ud Narrated from:
Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said: "The food of Walima on the first day is a duty, that on the second day is a Sunnah, while the third is showing off. Whoever (does something) to show-off, Allah will expose him (in the Hereafter)." [Reported by at-Tirmidhi who considered it Gharib (transmitted through a single narrator)]. [It is incorrectly claimed that] its narrators are those who are reported from in the Sahih (collection of al-Bukhari)].
- ضعيف . رواه الترمذي ( 1097 ) من طريق زياد بن عبد الله ، حدثنا عطاء بن السائب ، عن أبي عبد الرحمن ، عن ابن مسعود ، به . وزاد : " ومن سمع سمع الله به " ثم قال : " حديث ابن مسعود لا نعرفه مرفوعا إلا من حديث زياد بن عبد الله . وزياد بن عبد الله كثير الغرائب والمناكير . قال : وسمعت محمد بن إسماعيل يذكر عن محمد بن عقبة قال : قال وكيع : زياد بن عبد الله مع شرفه يكذب في الحديث " . قلت : وأيضا عطاء مختلط ، وسماع زياد منه بعد الاختلاط . وللحديث طرق وشواهد أخرى ، لكن كلها لا تصلح لتقوية الحديث.Sunnah.com reference: : Book 8, Hadith 92 | English translation: : Book 8, Hadith 1078 | Arabic reference: : Book 8, Hadith 1043
