Sunan Ibn Majah 2212 — The Chapters on Business Transactions

[1] This narration is reported by Shu'bah, from 'Abd Rabbihī bin Sa'eed, from Nāfi'. In Al-Kubra (the Book of Freeing Slaves: Mention of a slave being freed while he has wealth) by Nasā'i, after narrating it, Shu'bah said: "I narrated to him ('Abd Rabbihī) the narration of Ayyub, from Nāfi', that he narrated it to me with 'palmtree' from the Prophet ﷺ, and 'slave' from 'Umar. So 'Abd Rabbihī said: 'I do not know of the two of them together except from the Prophet ﷺ.' Then, another time he narrated it from the Prophet ﷺ, without any rebuke about it."
