Summary of Sunan Ibn Majah Hadith 4047
This Hadith about Harj explains one of the serious signs before the Hour. The Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم said the Hour will not begin until wealth becomes abundant, tribulations appear, and Harj increases. When the companions asked what Harj means, he answered: killing, killing, killing. The core topic is Tribulation. The Hadith shows that more wealth does not always mean more peace. A society may have much money and still face trials and bloodshed. The repeated word killing makes the warning stronger. For anyone searching for Harj meaning in Hadith, this narration gives the meaning clearly and directly from the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم.
What we learn from this hadith
- Abundant wealth is named among signs before the Hour.
- Tribulations will appear before the Hour.
- Harj is explained in the Hadith as killing.
- Material wealth does not by itself protect people from social disorder.
