حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ عُثْمَانَ، مَوْلَى أَبِي بَكْرٍ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي مُلَيْكَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، أَنَّهُ دَخَلَ عَلَى عَائِشَةَ فَذَكَرَ لَهَا شَيْئًا مِنَ الْقَدَرِ فَقَالَتْ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ يَقُولُ " مَنْ تَكَلَّمَ فِي شَىْءٍ مِنَ الْقَدَرِ سُئِلَ عَنْهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ وَمَنْ لَمْ يَتَكَلَّمْ فِيهِ لَمْ يُسْأَلْ عَنْهُ " . قَالَ أَبُو الْحَسَنِ الْقَطَّانُ حَدَّثَنَاهُ خَازِمُ بْنُ يَحْيَى، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ بْنُ شَيْبَانَ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ عُثْمَانَ، فَذَكَرَ نَحْوَهُ .
Abdullah bin Abi Mulaikah Narrated from:
`Abdullah bin Abi Mulaikah narrated that his father entered upon `A'ishah and said something to her about the Divine Decree: She said: "I heard The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) say: 'Whoever says anything about the Divine decree will be questioned about that on the Day of Resurrection, and whoever does not say anything about it will not be questioned about it.'" Another chain with similar wording.

Summary of Sunan Ibn Majah Hadith 84
This hadith about speaking on Divine Decree teaches restraint. Abdullah bin Abi Mulaikah’s father mentioned something about Qadar to Aishah. She then narrated that the Messenger of Allah صلى الله عليه وسلم said whoever says anything about the Divine Decree will be questioned about it on the Day of Resurrection, and whoever does not speak about it will not be questioned about it. The message is very practical. Some subjects are not for loose talk, debate, or guessing. Qadar belongs to the unseen knowledge of Allah, so the believer should speak only with care. The hadith does not tell people to deny Qadar. Rather, it warns against careless words about it.
