Al-Lu'lu Wal-Marjan 1234 — The Book of Al-Imâra (Concerning with ruling etc.)
The superiority of a single endeavour (of fighting) in Allâh’s Cause in the forenoon or in the afternoon.

حديث أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ رضي الله عنها، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ، قَالَ: لَغَدْوَةٌ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ أَوْ رَوْحَة خَيْرٌ مِنَ الدُّنْيَا وَمَا فِيهَا.
Anas bin Malik Narrated from:
The Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم said, “A single endeavour (of fighting) in Allâh’s Cause in the forenoon or in the afternoon is better than the world and whatever is in it.” ( Sahîh Al-Bukhârî, Hadîth No. 50, Vol. 4 )
