Al-Lu'lu Wal-Marjan 1236 — The Book of Al-Imâra (Concerning with ruling etc.)
The superiority of a single endeavour (of fighting) in Allâh’s Cause in the forenoon or in the afternoon.

حديث أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ، قَالَ: لَغَدْوَةٌ أَوْ رَوْحَةٌ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ خَيْرٌ مِمَّا تَطْلُعُ عَلَيْهِ الشَّمْسُ وَتَغْرُبُ.
Abu Hurairah Narrated from:
The Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم said, "A single endeavour in Allâh's Cause in the afternoon or in the forenoon is better than all that on which the sun rises and sets." ( Sahîh Al-Bukhâri, Hadîth No. 51, Vol. 4 )
