Al-Lu'lu Wal-Marjan 1416 — The Book of As-Salâm (Greetings)
It is advisable to treat the effect(1) of an evil eye,(2) of poisonous stings (a snake-bite or a scorpion sting) etc. with the help of Ruqya.

حديث عَائِشَةَ عَنِ الأَسْوَدِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ: سَأَلْتُ عَائِشَةَ عَنِ الرُّقْيَةِ مِنَ الْحُمَةِ فَقَالَتْ: رَخَّصَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ الرُّقْيَةَ مِنْ كُلِّ ذِي حُمَةٍ.
Al-Aswad Narrated from:
I asked 'Âisha رضى الله عنها about treating poisonous stings (a snake-bite or a scorpion sting) with a Ar-Ruqya. She said, "The Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم allowed the treatment of poisonous sting with Ruqya." ( Sahîh Al-Bukhâri, Hadîth No. 637, Vol. 7)
