Narrated Al-Fadl bin ‘Abbâs رضي الله عنهما : A woman from the tribe of Khath‘am came in the year (of Hajjat-ul-Wadâ‘ of the Prophet ﷺ) and said, “O Allâh’s Messenger, the obligation of Hajj enjoined by Allâh on His devotees has become due on my father and he is old and weak; and cannot sit properly on his mount. Will the obligation be fulfilled if I perform Hajj on his behalf?" The Prophet ﷺ replied in the affirmative. ( Sahîh Al-Bukhârî, Hadîth No. 78, Vol. 3)
