Mishkat al-MasabihHadith Number 4289
وَعَن جابرٍ قَالَ: كَانَ يُنْبَذُ لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي سِقَائِهِ فَإِذَا لَمْ يَجِدُوا سِقَاءً يُنْبَذُ لَهُ فِي تَوْرٍ مِنْ حِجَارَةٍ. رَوَاهُ مُسلم
Jabir Narrated from:
Dates were steeped for God’s messenger in a skin, but when they could not find a skin they were steeped for him in a small stone vessel. Muslim transmitted it.
