Mishkat al-MasabihHadith Number 5249
وَعَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ: «الدُّنْيَا سِجْنُ الْمُؤْمِنِ وَسَنَتُهُ وَإِذَا فَارَقَ الدُّنْيَا فَارَقَ السجنَ والسنةَ» . رَوَاهُ فِي «شرح السّنة»
'Abdullah bin 'Amr Narrated from:
Allah's Messenger صلى الله عليه وسلم said, "The world is a prison for the believer, and is his famine. And, when he parts from the world, he stands released from the prison and the famine." [3]
