Mishkat al-MasabihHadith Number 5250
وَعَن قَتَادَة بن النُّعْمَان أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ: «إِذا أحب الله عبداحماه الدُّنْيَا كَمَا يَظَلُّ أَحَدُكُمْ يَحْمِي سَقِيمَهُ الْمَاءَ» . رَوَاهُ أَحْمد وَالتِّرْمِذِيّ
Qatadah ibn Nu'man Narrated from:
Allah's Messenger صلى الله عليه وسلم said, 'when Allah love anyone, He keeps him away from the world just as any of you will keep his patient away from water.' [1]
