وَعَن أبي هُرَيْرَة أَنَّهُ أَصَابَهُمْ جُوعٌ فَأَعْطَاهُمْ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ تَمْرَةً تَمْرَةً. رَوَاهُ التِّرْمِذِيُّ
AbuHurayrah Narrated from:
They were afflicted with hunger (meaning, the poor sahabah رضي الله عنه). So, Allah's Messenger صلى الله عليه وسلم gave them one date apiece.
