Abu Dharr Narrated from:
Someone asked Allah's Messenger صلى الله عليه وسلم, "What do you say of a man who does good deeds and people praise him because of it and," - according to a version: - "he is loved by the people because of it?" (will his reward and deed be in vain?) He said, "That (praise and love) is glad tidings to the believer conveyed to him before-hand." [1]
