Mishkat al-MasabihHadith Number 5336
وَعَن عُثْمَان بن عَفَّان قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ: «مَنْ كَانَتْ لَهُ سَرِيرَةٌ صَالِحَةً أَوْ سَيِّئَةً أَظْهَرَ اللَّهُ مِنْهَا رِدَاءً يُعْرَفُ بِهِ»
'Uthman bin 'Affan Narrated from:
Allah's messenger said, "He who has a concealed good or bad characteristic, Allah bring out some such thing of it as makes him known with that characteristic." [1]
