وَحَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ رُمْحٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا اللَّيْثُ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ عُقْبَةَ، مَوْلَى الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ كُرَيْبٍ، مَوْلَى ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ عَنْ أُسَامَةَ بْنِ زَيْدٍ، قَالَ انْصَرَفَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم بَعْدَ الدَّفْعَةِ مِنْ عَرَفَاتٍ إِلَى بَعْضِ تِلْكَ الشِّعَابِ لِحَاجَتِهِ فَصَبَبْتُ عَلَيْهِ مِنَ الْمَاءِ فَقُلْتُ أَتُصَلِّي فَقَالَ " الْمُصَلَّى أَمَامَكَ " .
Usamah bin Zaid Narrated from:
Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) on his way back from 'Arafat got down in one of these creeks (to answer the call of nature), and after he had done that I poured water (over his hands) and said: Are you going to pray? Thereupon he said: The place of prayer is ahead of you.

This Hadith is a short report from Usama b. Zaid about the Prophet’s return from Arafat. Allah’s Messenger صلى الله عليه وسلم stopped in one of the creeks to answer the call of nature. Usama poured water for him and then asked, “Are you going to pray?” The Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم answered, “The place of prayer is ahead of you.” The narration does not give the later details of the prayer, but the message is clear within the text: the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم did not pray at that stopping place. He continued toward the place ahead. This Hadith is strongly connected to the phrase “prayer awaits you at Muzdalifa” found in related reports. Its core topic is delaying the prayer to its Hajj station during the journey from Arafat.
