Summary of Sahih Muslim Hadith 1652d
This narration supports the hadith about not asking for authority by reporting the same tradition through a different chain of transmitters. The wording says it is like the narration of Jarir. Because the text is brief, the safest explanation is to focus on what it directly tells us: the message was preserved through more than one route. For users searching Sahih Muslim 1652d explanation, the main topic remains authority, leadership, and asking for office. The report shows that Hadith collections often place a full wording first, then add another route with a short note. It does not add a new ruling or a new story beyond that link.
What we learn from this hadith
- This report gives another chain for the same tradition.
- The main topic remains not asking for authority.
- The text does not add a new story.
- Short chain notes help preserve the report’s transmission.
