Sa'd b. Abu Burda Narrated from:
The Prophet of Allah (ﷺ) sent him and Mu'adh (on a mission) to the Yemen, and said (by way of advising them): Show leniency (to the people); don't be hard upon them; give them glad tidings (of Divine favours in this world and the Hereafter); and do not create aversion. Work in collaboration and don't be divided.

Summary of Sahih Muslim Hadith 1733a
This Hadith about ease and unity gives a clear picture of how a mission should be carried out. The Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم sent Abu Musa and Mu'adh to Yemen and advised them to be gentle with people. He told them not to be hard, to give glad tidings, and not to create aversion. He also added a key instruction: work in collaboration and do not be divided. The message is direct and practical. When people represent religion, their manner matters. They should not make the path feel heavy through harshness. They should also avoid conflict between themselves, because division can weaken the work they were sent to do.
What we learn from this hadith
- Religious work should be done with ease and kindness.
- Glad tidings help people feel welcome and hopeful.
- Those working together should cooperate and avoid division.
