Summary of Sahih Muslim Hadith 2107l
This hadith about pictures in the home reports that A'isha screened her door with a carpet that had pictures on it. When the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم entered and saw it, he removed it. A'isha then made two cushions from that same material. The text is simple, so the explanation should stay simple as well. The pictured item was used as a hanging screen, then it was taken down and changed into cushions. This makes the narration easy to find for searches such as pictures in Islam hadith, Aisha cushions hadith, and carpet with pictures hadith. The report highlights the action of removing the displayed pictured screen and then making practical use of the cloth in another way.
What we learn from this hadith
- A pictured carpet used as a screen was removed.
- A'isha made two cushions from the same material.
