Sahih MuslimHadith Number 749h
Anas b. Sirin Narrated from:
I asked Ibn 'Umar like this (as recorded in the previous hadith) and he made this addition:" And he (the Holy Prophet) made the end of the night prayer as odd number by one rak'ah." And there is also (this addition):" Stop, stop, you are bulky."

Summary of Sahih Muslim Hadith 749h
This narration follows the previous report from Anas b. Sirin and says that Ibn 'Umar answered in the same way, with an added wording: the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وسلم) made the end of the night prayer odd by one rak'ah. It also includes the statement, "Stop, stop, you are bulky." For readers searching for Sahih Muslim 749h, Witr one rak'ah, or Prophet night prayer practice, the key point in the text is the added mention of Witr at the end of the night. The Hadith does not give a new separate method. It supports the same theme found in nearby narrations: night prayer is connected with pairs, and Witr is the odd ending made by one rak'ah.
What we learn from this hadith
- The narration adds a clear mention of Witr by one rak'ah at the end of the night.
- It is linked to the previous report about the Prophet's night practice.
- The report preserves an added wording without turning it into a separate story.
