حَدَّثَنِي أَحْمَدُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الدَّوْرَقِيُّ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ، عَنْ حَمَّادِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ، قَالَ ذَكَرَ أَيُّوبُ رَجُلاً يَوْمًا فَقَالَ لَمْ يَكُنْ بِمُسْتَقِيمِ اللِّسَانِ وَذَكَرَ آخَرَ فَقَالَ هُوَ يَزِيدُ فِي الرَّقْمِ .
Hammād bin Zayd Narrated from:
Ayyūb mentioned a man one day and said [about him]: ‘He is not upright in speech [i.e. he lies]’, and he mentioned another [person] and said: ‘He adds to records [i.e. he lies]’.

This report is about honesty in narration. Ayyūb mentioned one man and said he was not upright in speech, meaning he lied according to the translation. He then mentioned another person and said that he added to records, also explained as lying.
