Summary of Sunan an-Nasai Hadith 1467
This Hadith from Ibn Abbas reports a specific form of the eclipse prayer. It says the Messenger of Allah (صلى الله عليه وسلم) prayed when the sun was eclipsed, bowing eight times and prostrating four times. The main search term here is how to pray Salat al-Kusuf because readers often look for the number of bowings and prostrations. The text gives only this reported form, so the explanation should stay close to it. It does not add extra details about the sermon or the cause of the eclipse. It simply records that during the solar eclipse prayer, the Prophet prayed with eight bowings and four prostrations, and a similar report is mentioned from Ata.
