Summary of Sunan an-Nasai Hadith 2509
This report is a statement from Ibn Abbas concerning Sadaqatul Fitr. The wording lists one Sa of wheat, one Sa of dates, one Sa of barley, or one Sa of rye. Since the translation labels it Sahih Mawquf, the explanation should not speak as if this sentence is a direct Prophetic statement in this report. It is still useful for readers searching Sadaqatul Fitr food types, one Sa of wheat, or Zakatul Fitr rye. The Hadith does not mention who must give it or when it is due. Its focus is the named food categories and the measure of one Sa. That keeps the lesson precise and easy to understand.
