Summary of Sunan an-Nasai Hadith 3181
This Hadith teaches that support in the cause of Allah is not limited to the person who goes out himself. The Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم said that whoever equips a warrior has fought, and whoever looks after the warrior’s family in his absence has fought. The main message is shared reward through real support. A person may help with supplies, resources, or care for the family left behind. This makes the hadith about equipping a warrior very powerful because it values the hidden helpers behind public acts of service. The text also shows that caring for a Muslim family with goodness is a serious trust and a form of meaningful contribution.
