Sunan an-Nasai 3570 — If Omens Exist

Summary of Sunan an-Nasai Hadith 3570

This hadith about omens uses careful conditional wording. Jabir reports that the Messenger of Allah said, “If there are omens in anything,” they are in houses, women, and horses. That opening phrase is an important part of the text and should not be dropped when explaining the narration. The hadith then names the same three categories and gives no further details about signs, causes, or individual cases. It does not tell a story about a particular home, marriage, or animal. For readers searching for the hadith on omens in a house, woman, and horse, the main point is the Prophet’s conditional statement and the three items he named. A sound summary preserves that wording without adding wider conclusions.
