Sunan an-Nasai 3571 — Blessing in Horse Forelocks

Summary of Sunan an-Nasai Hadith 3571

This hadith about blessing in horses contains a short and memorable statement. Anas bin Malik reports that the Messenger of Allah said, “Blessing is in the forelocks of horses.” The narration directly connects blessing with the forelocks of horses. It does not explain a separate reason, describe a particular horse, or list conditions in this wording. Because the report is brief, its meaning should not be stretched into promises that it does not make. The safest explanation is that the Prophet affirmed blessing in the forelocks of horses. This makes the hadith closely connected to searches for horse blessing in Islam and goodness in horse forelocks. The lesson is expressed in one clear sentence, and a faithful summary should retain that simple focus.
