Summary of Sunan an-Nasai Hadith 3721
This narration repeats a direct teaching about the 'Umra gift in Islam. An 'Umra is described in the input as a gift given for life, and the Messenger of Allah says that it belongs to the heir. This means the gift is not presented as a simple temporary benefit that must return to the giver when the recipient dies. Instead, the statement links the gift to inheritance. The Hadith is very concise, so the explanation should stay close to its words. It does not list extra conditions or describe every type of gift. Its focus is the lasting effect of this particular life-long gift and the need to understand how such a transfer can affect ownership after death.
What we learn from this hadith
- The 'Umra gift has an effect beyond the recipient's lifetime.
- The Hadith connects this gift with the rights of an heir.
- People should understand the lasting result before giving property in this form.
