The Concession For The Price Of A Hunting Dog

أَخْبَرَنِي إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ الْمِقْسَمِيُّ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، عَنْ حَمَّادِ بْنِ سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم نَهَى عَنْ ثَمَنِ السِّنَّوْرِ وَالْكَلْبِ إِلاَّ كَلْبَ صَيْدٍ ‏.‏ قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ وَحَدِيثُ حَجَّاجٍ عَنْ حَمَّادِ بْنِ سَلَمَةَ لَيْسَ هُوَ بِصَحِيحٍ ‏.‏

It was narrated from Jabir that: the Prophet forbade the price of cats and dogs, except hunting. (Da if) Abu Abdur-Rahman (An-Nasa I) said: The Hadith of Hajjaj from Hammad bin Salamah is not authentic:
