Summary of Sunan an-Nasai Hadith 5155
This hadith about the Ansar confirming the gold warning reports that Muawiyah went on Hajj and called a group of Ansar to the Kabah. He asked them by Allah whether they had heard the Messenger of Allah SAW forbid gold. They said yes, and he said that he bore witness to that. This narration focuses on hearing the Prophet's words and confirming them in a group setting. It does not give added detail about the type of gold or the form of wearing in the translation. The lesson is therefore simple: when a known prophetic warning is remembered, believers should accept it with honesty and care. The Ansar's answer shows clear agreement.
What we learn from this hadith
- Muawiyah called a group of Ansar during Hajj.
