Summary of Sunan an-Nasai Hadith 5366
This hadith about prayer and blankets is very brief. Aishah said that the Messenger of Allah would not pray in their blankets. Because the report gives only this statement, the explanation should not add reasons that are not mentioned in the text. What we can say is that the Prophet had a known practice in this matter, and Aishah noticed it clearly enough to narrate it. The hadith also shows how the Companions preserved small details from his daily life, including what he used or avoided during prayer. For anyone searching for a hadith about praying in blankets, this narration gives a direct report of what Aishah observed without extra detail in this wording.
What we learn from this hadith
- Aishah reported a specific practice of the Prophet related to prayer.
- The hadith shows that even small prayer details were preserved by the Companions.
- The text does not state a reason, so the wording should be kept as it is.
- A believer can learn respect for reported Prophetic practice from simple narrations.
