The Power of Dua: Prophet's Guidance on Supplication
According to these authentic prophetic traditions, the power of dua lies in its direct connection between you and the Creator. The Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) taught us how to supplicate with correct manners to ensure our prayers are heard. First, when you make a request to Allah, you should never say 'forgive me if You wish' or 'give me if You want.' Instead, appeal to Him with absolute conviction and firm determination because absolutely no one can force Allah against His will. Second, you must remain patient and never give up. The Prophet (ﷺ) noted that your supplications are granted as long as you do not become impatient and say that your request has not been answered. Finally, make use of blessed times; every night during the last third of the night, Allah descends to the lowest heaven, asking who is calling Him so He can respond, who is asking so He can give, and who is seeking forgiveness so He can forgive.
