حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، حَدَّثَنَا وَهْبُ بْنُ جَرِيرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ كُهَيْلٍ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ رَجُلاً، تَقَاضَى رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَأَغْلَظَ لَهُ فَهَمَّ بِهِ أَصْحَابُهُ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " دَعُوهُ فَإِنَّ لِصَاحِبِ الْحَقِّ مَقَالاً " ثُمَّ قَالَ " اشْتَرُوا لَهُ بَعِيرًا فَأَعْطُوهُ إِيَّاهُ " . فَطَلَبُوهُ فَلَمْ يَجِدُوا إِلاَّ سِنًّا أَفْضَلَ مِنْ سِنِّهِ . فَقَالَ " اشْتَرُوهُ فَأَعْطُوهُ إِيَّاهُ فَإِنَّ خَيْرَكُمْ أَحْسَنُكُمْ قَضَاءً " .حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ كُهَيْلٍ، نَحْوَهُ . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ .
Abu Hurairah Narrated from:
A Man Behaved In A Rude Manner While Trying To Collect A Debt From The Messenger Of Allah (ﷺ). So His Companions Were About To Harm Him. The Messenger Of Allah (ﷺ) Said: 'Leave Him, For Indeed The Owner Of The The Right Has The Right To Speak.' Then He Said: 'Purchase A Camel For Him And Give It To Him.' So They Searched Out But They Did Not Find A Camel But Of A Better Age Than His Camel. So He Said: 'Buy It And Give It To Him. For Indeed The Best Of You Is The Best In Repaying.'"Another Chain Of Narration With Similar Meaning. [Abu 'Eisa Said:] This Hadith Is Hasan Sahih.

Summary of Jami at-Tirmidhi Hadith 1317
This creditor rights hadith shows patience, justice, and good repayment. A man came to collect a debt from the Messenger of Allah (صلى الله عليه وسلم) and spoke rudely. The Companions were about to respond harshly, but the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وسلم) told them to leave him, saying that the owner of a right has the right to speak. Then he ordered that a camel be bought and given to the man. When only a better-aged camel was found, the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وسلم) told them to buy it and give it to him, saying that the best of you are the best in repaying. The hadith balances the creditor's right with calm and generous repayment.
