حَدَّثَنَا نَصْرُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْجَهْضَمِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ عُمَرَ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعَيْبُ بْنُ رُزَيْقٍ أَبُو شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا عَطَاءٌ الْخُرَاسَانِيُّ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ أَبِي رَبَاحٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَقُولُ " عَيْنَانِ لاَ تَمَسُّهُمَا النَّارُ عَيْنٌ بَكَتْ مِنْ خَشْيَةِ اللَّهِ وَعَيْنٌ بَاتَتْ تَحْرُسُ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ " . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى وَفِي الْبَابِ عَنْ عُثْمَانَ وَأَبِي رَيْحَانَةَ . وَحَدِيثُ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ لاَ نَعْرِفُهُ إِلاَّ مِنْ حَدِيثِ شُعَيْبِ بْنِ رُزَيْقٍ .
Ibn 'Abbas Narrated from:
I Heard The Messenger Of Allah (ﷺ) Saying, 'There Are Two Eyes That Shall Not Be Touched By The Fire: An Eye That Wept From The Fear Of Allah, And An Eye That Spent The Night Standing On Guard In The Cause Of Allah. [Abu 'Eisa Said:] There Are Narrations On This Topic From 'Uthman And Abu Raihanah. The Hadith Of Ibn 'Abbas Is A Hasan Gharib Hadith, We Do Not Know Of It Except Through The Narration Of Shu'Aib Bin Ruzaiq.

Summary of Jami at-Tirmidhi Hadith 1639
This Hadith teaches about two eyes that shall not be touched by the Fire. Ibn 'Abbas narrated that he heard the Messenger of Allah صلى الله عليه وسلم say one is an eye that wept from the fear of Allah, and the other is an eye that spent the night standing guard in the cause of Allah. The Hadith brings together inner humility and outward watchfulness. One eye shows fear of Allah through tears. The other stays awake in guarding. The wording does not add other categories here.
