Summary of Jami at-Tirmidhi Hadith 1778
This narration says that Aishah walked in one sandal. Abu Eisa then explains that this version is more correct. He also says that Sufyan Ath-Thawri and others narrated it from Abdur-Rahman bin Al-Qasim in Mawquf form, meaning stopped at Aishah, and that this is more correct. This is important because the previous report connected the action to the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم. Here, the text itself tells us that the more correct form is about Aishah. For readers searching for the one sandal Hadith, this entry is a useful reminder that Hadith explanations must pay attention not only to the wording but also to the grading and form of the narration.
What we learn from this hadith
- The more correct report is Mawquf from Aishah.
- Abu Eisa clearly states which version is stronger.
- Hadith form matters when explaining a narration.
- The report should not be presented without its correction note.
