Summary of Jami at-Tirmidhi Hadith 1869
This Hadith brings the focus back to the main rule. The Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم said that he had forbidden people from using certain containers, but a container does not make anything lawful or unlawful. Then he gave the core rule: every intoxicant is unlawful. This wording is important because it teaches that the real issue is not merely the vessel. The decisive point is intoxication. If something is intoxicating, then it is unlawful, regardless of the container. For users searching for every intoxicant is unlawful or Nabidh container hadith, this narration connects both topics. It shows that rules about containers should not make a person forget the bigger rule about intoxicants.
What we learn from this hadith
- The container itself does not make a drink lawful or unlawful.
- The main ruling in the Hadith is that every intoxicant is unlawful.
- The focus is placed on the effect of intoxication.
- A person should not use containers as a way to ignore the ruling on intoxicants.
