Summary of Jami at-Tirmidhi Hadith 212
This Hadith highlights dua between adhan and iqamah. Anas bin Malik narrates that Allah's Messenger said the supplication made between the adhan and iqamah is not rejected. The wording is short and direct, so the main teaching is also direct: do not waste that time. After the adhan, before the prayer begins, a believer has a special opening for asking Allah. The Hadith does not list a fixed dua here. It simply points to the value of supplication in that period. This makes the time between the call and the standing for prayer a moment of hope, focus, and personal dua.
What we learn from this hadith
- The time between adhan and iqamah is a special time for supplication.
- The Hadith states that dua in this time is not rejected.
- The report does not limit the person to one specific wording.
- The adhan should lead to prayer, remembrance, and asking Allah.
