Muhammad bin 'Amr Narrated from:
Muhammed bin 'Amr narrated from his father, from his grandfather who said: "I Heard Bilal Bin Al-Harith Al Muzani, The Companion Of The Messenger Of Allah (S.A.W) Saying: 'I Heard The Messenger Of Allah (S.A.W) Saying: "Indeed One Of You Says A Statement Pleasing To Allah, Not Realizing That You Have Achieved What You Have Achieved. Then For It, Allah Writes For Him His Pleasure Until The Day Of Meeting Him. And One Of You Says A Statement Angering Allah, Not Realizing That You Have Achieved What You Have Achieved. Then For It, Allah Writes For Him His Anger Until The Day Of Meeting With Him."

Summary of Jami at-Tirmidhi Hadith 2319
This Hadith shows the great weight of words. The Messenger of Allah said that one of you may say a statement pleasing to Allah without realizing how far it reaches, and Allah writes for him His pleasure until the day he meets Him. A person may also say a statement angering Allah without realizing how far it reaches, and Allah writes His anger upon him until the day he meets Him. This hadith about the power of words is closely tied to guarding the tongue. It teaches that speech can be far more serious than the speaker thinks. Words may look small at the moment, but their outcome can be great.
What we learn from this hadith
- A pleasing word may have a greater value than the speaker expects.
- An angering word may have a greater harm than the speaker expects.
- Allah's pleasure and anger are connected here to what people say.
- The Hadith teaches deep care before speaking.
