Summary of Jami at-Tirmidhi Hadith 2370
This hadith is a shorter report connected to the meaning of the previous narration. Abu Salamah bin Abdur-Rahman narrated that the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) went out one day with Abu Bakr and Umar. The text says it mentioned a similar meaning to Hadith 2369, but did not mention Abu Hurairah in it. It also notes that the narration of Shaiban is more complete and longer than the narration of Abu Awanah. So the value of this report is mainly in showing a supporting route and a shorter form of the same story.
