The Messenger Of Allah (ﷺ) Said: "There Are Six Things Due From The Believer To Another Believer: Visiting Him When He Is Ill, Attending (His Funeral) To Him When He Dies, Accepting His Invitation When He Invites, Giving Him Salam When He Meets Him, Replying To Him When He Sneezes, And Wishing Him Well When He Is Absent And When He Is Present."

Summary of Jami at-Tirmidhi Hadith 2737
This Hadith lists six things due from one believer to another believer. The Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم mentioned visiting him when he is ill, attending him when he dies, accepting his invitation, giving salam when meeting him, replying to him when he sneezes, and wishing him well when he is absent and present. The Hadith about duties of a believer shows that faith affects how people treat each other. It is not limited to words. It includes presence during illness, respect at death, response to invitations, good greetings, and sincere care even when the person is not there. The last point is especially strong: wishing well should not depend on whether someone is present.
What we learn from this hadith
- A believer should visit another believer when he is ill.
- A believer should attend to him when he dies.
- Giving salam and replying to sneezing are part of believer manners.
- Sincere goodwill should remain in a person's absence and presence.
