حَدَّثَنَا سَلَمَةُ بْنُ شَبِيبٍ، حَدَّثَنَا زَيْدُ بْنُ حُبَابٍ، عَنْ كَامِلٍ أَبِي الْعَلاَءِ، عَنْ حَبِيبِ بْنِ أَبِي ثَابِتٍ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم كَانَ يَقُولُ بَيْنَ السَّجْدَتَيْنِ " اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي وَارْحَمْنِي وَاجْبُرْنِي وَاهْدِنِي وَارْزُقْنِي " .
Ibn 'Abbas Narrated from:
Between The Two Prostrations, The Prophet Would Say: (Allahummaghfir Li, Warhamni, Wajburni, Wahdini, Warzuqni). 'O Allah! Pardon Me, Have Mercy On Me, Help Me, Guide Me, And Grant Me Sustenance.'

This Hadith about dua between two prostrations gives a short and meaningful supplication from the Prophet. Ibn Abbas narrated that between the two prostrations, the Prophet would say: "Allahummaghfir li, warhamni, wajburni, wahdini, warzuqni." In simple meaning, the worshipper asks Allah for pardon, mercy, help, guidance, and sustenance. The dua is easy to understand and covers needs of the heart, faith, and daily life. The Hadith does not add a long explanation. Its power is in the words themselves. In the middle of Salah, the servant asks Allah for forgiveness and care while sitting between two acts of prostration.
