Summary of Jami at-Tirmidhi Hadith 3186
This hadith gives a short but vivid scene from the Prophet's response to the verse, And warn your tribe of near kindred. Al-Ashari said that the Messenger of Allah (صلى الله عليه وسلم) placed his fingers in his ears, raised his voice, and called out to Banu Abd Manaf. The text shows urgency. The warning was not hidden, soft, or delayed. It was announced in a way people could hear. The hadith does not give the full speech here, so the explanation should not add details beyond the text. Its main point is that the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وسلم) carried out the command to warn his close relatives openly and clearly.
What we learn from this hadith
- The Prophet (صلى الله عليه وسلم) took the command to warn seriously.
- Religious warning may need clear and public speech.
- Near relatives were included in the message, not excused from it.
- The text highlights urgency without adding extra details.
