Abu Hurairah Narrated from:

A man said: “O Messenger Of Allah, I Heard Your Supplication Last Night, And The Part Of It That Reached Me Of It, Was That You Said: ‘O Allah, Forgive Me My Sin, And Expand For Me My Abode, And Bless For Me That Which You Have Provided Me’ (Allāhummaghfirlī Dhanbī, Wa Wassi` Lī Fī Dārī, Wa Bārik Lī Fīmā Razaqtanī). He Said: ‘Do You See That They Leave Off Anything?’”

Summary of Jami at-Tirmidhi Hadith 3500

This Hadith shares a short dua heard from the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم at night. A man told the Messenger of Allah صلى الله عليه وسلم that he heard part of his supplication, and what reached him was: “O Allah, forgive me my sin, expand for me my abode, and bless for me that which You have provided me.” The Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم replied: “Do you see that they leave off anything?” The dua brings together three clear requests: forgiveness of sin, expansion in one’s abode, and blessing in provision. The wording is simple and easy to repeat. It is not only asking for more; it asks for barakah in what Allah has already provided. For users searching for dua for rizq and forgiveness, this Hadith gives a direct prophetic wording.
