A'isha Narrated from:
The Prophet Left Me While He Had A Joyous Look Of Contentment And He Returned To Me Grieving. So I Asked Him About That And He Said: 'I Entered The Ka'Bah, And I Wished That I Had Not Done It. I Fear That My Ummah Will Follow Me (In That) After Me.'

Summary of Jami at-Tirmidhi Hadith 873
This entering the Ka'bah hadith shows the Prophet’s care for his Ummah. Aishah said that he left her with a happy and content look, then returned grieving. When she asked about it, he said that he had entered the Ka'bah and wished he had not done it, because he feared that his Ummah would follow him in that after him. The Hadith does not say that entering the Ka'bah is forbidden. It shows the Prophet’s concern that people might feel hardship or pressure because of his action. The core topic is ease and mercy in religious practice. The main lesson is that the Prophet thought about how his actions could affect the people after him.
