A'isha Narrated from:
I Wanted To Enter The House To Perform Salat In It, So The Messenger Of Allah Took Me By The Hand And Put Me In The Hijr, And He Said: 'Perform Salat In The Hijri If You Want To Enter The House. For Indeed It Is Part Of The House, But Your People Considered It Insignificant When They Built The Ka'Bah, So They Put It Outside The House.'

Summary of Jami at-Tirmidhi Hadith 876
This praying in the Hijr hadith gives a direct answer to Aishah’s wish to enter the House and pray inside it. She said she wanted to enter the House to perform Salat. The Messenger of Allah took her by the hand and placed her in the Hijr. He told her to pray in the Hijr if she wanted to enter the House, because it is part of the House. He then explained that her people made it short when they built the Ka'bah, so they put that part outside the House. The core topic is the Hijr and the Ka'bah. The Hadith is often searched by people asking whether the Hijr is part of the Ka'bah and whether prayer there relates to praying inside the House.
What we learn from this hadith
- Aishah wanted to enter the House and pray inside it.
- The Prophet guided her to pray in the Hijr.
- He said the Hijr is part of the House.
