25/39. Chapter:

To enter Makkah by day or by night

بَاتَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِذِي طُوًى حَتَّى أَصْبَحَ ثُمَّ دَخَلَ مَكَّةَ، وَكَانَ ابْنُ عُمَرَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ يَفْعَلُهُ.The Prophet ﷺ passed the night at Dhi-Tuwa till it was dawn and then entered Makkah in the morning, and Ibn ‘Umar رضي الله عنهما used to do the same.

Sahih BukhariHadith Number 1574

حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي نَافِعٌ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ـ رضى الله عنهما ـ قَالَ بَاتَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم بِذِي طُوًى حَتَّى أَصْبَحَ ثُمَّ دَخَلَ مَكَّةَ‏.‏ وَكَانَ ابْنُ عُمَرَ ـ رضى الله عنهما ـ يَفْعَلُهُ‏.‏

Narrated Nafi`: ' Ibn `Umar said, "The Prophet (ﷺ) passed the night at Dhi-Tuwa till it was dawn and then he entered Mecca." Ibn `Umar used to do the same.
